Dynaglipt M Tablet 10

Dynaglipt-M Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Regulating blood sugar levels when diet and exercise alone do not suffice.

• Providing better glycemic control

• Preventing complications of diabetes

• Reducing the risk of severe complications associated with diabetes, such as kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, limb amputations, and sexual dysfunction.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet as it is designed to release medicine slowly in your body.

• Always take this medicine immediately after meals to maximise its effect and reduce side effects.

• Never exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor firs

Dynaglipt-M Tablet is taken orally.

Dynaglipt-M Tablet works in your body through two active components, metformin and teneligliptin:

• Metformin (500 mg): Metformin is a biguanide that reduces both basal and postprandial blood glucose levels in your body. It decreases the production of glucose in your liver, reduces the absorption of glucose in your intestines and enhances insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilisation. Metformin does not stimulate insulin secretion; therefore, it carries a low risk of hypoglycaemia.

• Teneligliptin (20 mg): Teneligliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. This compound slows down the inactivation of hormones called incretins, such as GLP-1 and GIP. By extending the activity of these incretins, teneligliptin enhances the secretion of insulin and decreases the release of glucagon from cells in your pancreas in a glucose-dependent manner. This dual action results in an overall reduction of blood glucose levels with a low risk of hypoglycaemia.

• Store Dynaglipt-M Tablet at room temperature, ideally not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in a dry place, away from light.

• Ensure the packaging is closed properly to prevent exposure to air and moisture.

• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

• Use the medication before its expiry date for the best results.

• If you are taking Dynaglipt-M Tablet for managing type 2 diabetes, try to follow a balanced diet that is low in simple sugars. Consuming complex carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables and lean proteins can help manage your blood glucose levels.

• Regular physical activity is important. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise, such as brisk walking or cycling, on most days of the week. This can help improve insulin sensitivity and manage your blood sugar levels effectively.
