Eritel LN 40 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing hypertension, also known as high blood pressure

• Lowering the risk of heart attacks

• Preventing kidney problems associated with high blood pressure

To use the Eritel LN 40 Tablet properly, follow these instructions:

• It's important to take this medication as prescribed by your doctor consistently.

Eritel LN 40 Tablet is taken orally.

Eritel LN 40 Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together to manage high blood pressure:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This is a type of medication called a calcium channel blocker. It works by preventing calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells in the walls of your blood vessels. As a result, your blood vessels relax and widen, reducing peripheral resistance and lowering your blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This ingredient is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which normally causes your blood vessels to narrow. By blocking this action, telmisartan allows your blood vessels to stay relaxed and open, improving blood flow and further decreasing your blood pressure.
