Eurepa MF 1 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of type 2 diabetes in adults: This medicine is typically prescribed when diet and exercise, along with other anti-diabetic medications, are unable to control blood sugar levels adequately.

• Achieving better glycemic control: This medication is particularly helpful when monotherapy with either Repaglinide or Metformin fails to provide the desired control over blood glucose levels.

Here's how you should take Eurepa MF 1 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing, chewing or breaking it.

• Timing is important. You should take each dose 15-30 minutes before a meal.

• If you miss a meal, skip the dose meant to be taken before that meal.

Eurepa MF 1 Tablet is taken orally.

Eurepa MF 1 Tablet contains the following active ingredients:

• Repaglinide (1 mg): This ingredient belongs to a class of medicines known as meglitinides. Its function is to stimulate the pancreas to secrete more insulin, which aids in reducing the levels of blood glucose. Repaglinide acts on pancreatic beta cells to increase insulin release, particularly in response to meals.

• Metformin (500 mg): Identified as a biguanide, metformin improves insulin sensitivity and decreases the production of glucose in the liver. It reduces sugar absorption from the gut and enhances glucose uptake and use by body tissues. Notably, metformin does not cause hypoglycemia or weight gain.

• Store Eurepa MF 1 Tablet at room temperature, ideally not exceeding 30°C.

• Protect the medicine from exposure to light and moisture.
