Feno-TG Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing high LDL cholesterol levels: This medicine helps decrease low-density lipoprotein, also known as the "bad" cholesterol.

• Lowering elevated triglycerides: It reduces the amount of fatty substances, or triglycerides, in the blood.

• Boosting HDL cholesterol levels: Feno-TG Tablet aids in enhancing high-density lipoprotein, commonly referred to as the "good" cholesterol.

• Assisting patients with hypercholesterolemia: This condition is characterised by very high levels of cholesterol in the blood.

• Controlling mixed dyslipidemia: A condition involving abnormal levels of all types of fats in the blood, including cholesterol and triglycerides.

• Alleviating hypertriglyceridemia: A state where there are high levels of triglycerides in the blood.

• Addressing diabetic dyslipidemia: This is a condition where a person with diabetes has high cholesterol and fat levels in their blood.

Follow these instructions while taking Feno-TG Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Always take this medicine as recommended by your doctor.

• Never stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Feno-TG Tablet is taken orally.

Feno-TG Tablet contains fenofibrate (145 mg), which has the following effects on the body:

• Activation of PPAR-α: Fenofibrate works by stimulating the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-α). This process increases the breakdown and removal of lipoproteins rich in triglycerides and fatty acids.

• Reduction of harmful cholesterol: Fenofibrate decreases the production of LDL cholesterol and VLDL (very low-density lipoprotein) by the liver. LDL and VLDL are types of cholesterol that can build up in your arteries and cause heart disease.

• Increase of beneficial cholesterol: In addition to reducing harmful cholesterol, fenofibrate also boosts the production of HDL cholesterol, which is beneficial for your health as it helps remove cholesterol from your body.

• Store Feno-TG Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.

• Ensure the storage area is out of reach from children.

• Always check the expiry date on the package before use.

• Implement a low-fat, low-cholesterol diet. This will support the function of Feno-TG Tablet in managing high cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
