Gabacure Gel 30gm

Gabacure Gel is used for managing the following conditions:

• Neuropathic pain resulting from damage or dysfunction of nerves.

• Pain that follows shingles, also known as postherpetic neuralgia.

• Diabetic neuropathy, a type of nerve damage arising from diabetes.

• Neuropathic pain caused by spinal cord injuries.

Here's how to use Gabacure Gel:

• Make sure the area where you'll apply the gel is clean and dry.

• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area.

• Maintain hand hygiene before and after application unless your hands are the treatment area.

Gabacure Gel is applied topically.

Gabacure Gel works through the combined effects of its active components:

• Lidocaine (5%): As a local anaesthetic, lidocaine works by blocking the transmission of pain signals from nerve endings to the brain. It achieves this by stabilising the neuronal membrane and inhibiting ionic fluxes required for initiating and conducting nerve impulses.

• Gabapentin (6%): This component modulates the activity of voltage-gated calcium channels in nerve cells, which are important in transmitting signals the nerves. By doing so, gabapentin reduces the release of neurotransmitters involved in pain signalling.

• Store Gabacure Gel at a temperature below 25°C.

• Keep away from direct heat and moisture.

• Ensure the tube is tightly closed when not in use.

• Keep out of reach of children.
