Glizid-M XR 60 Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus: This is a condition characterised by high blood sugar levels due to resistance to or insufficient production of insulin.

• Stabilising fasting and post-meal (postprandial) blood sugar levels: It helps maintain normal sugar levels throughout the day.

• Prevention of complications related to diabetes: These may include heart diseases, kidney damage, eye problems, and nerve issues.

Here are the guidelines on how to take Glizid-M XR 60 Tablet:

• The tablet should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Avoid breaking or chewing it.

• It's recommended to take the medicine with meals.

• Never exceed the prescribed dose without your doctor's consent.

• If you feel an urge to stop taking this medicine, speak first with your doctor.
