Hilo Capsule is used for the following:

• Management of internal and external piles, also known as haemorrhoids

• Assistance in the healing process of anal fissures

• Relief from inflammation, swelling, and itching caused by haemorrhoids

• Reduction of discomfort and redness around the anal area due to piles

• Facilitation of easy bowel movements, thus preventing constipation associated with haemorrhoids

• Decrease in the frequency and severity of acute hemorrhoidal episodes

Use Hilo Capsule following these steps:

• Thoroughly follow the dosage and timing guidelines provided by your doctor for taking this medicine.

• Do not change or exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

• Avoid discontinuing this medication without your doctor's advice. Always consult your doctor before stopping.

• Adhere to the diet plan recommended by your doctor.

Hilo Capsule is taken orally.

Hilo Capsule contain a combination of four active ingredients that work together:

• Commiphora molmol oleoresin (250 mg): This ingredient, commonly known as guggul, has anti-inflammatory properties. It inhibits pro-inflammatory chemicals in the body, reducing inflammation and promoting wound healing.

• Gardenia gummifera gum resin (83 mg): Often referred to as dikamali, this gum resin acts as a mild laxative. By facilitating smooth bowel movement, it helps prevent constipation which can worsen haemorrhoids.

• Mesua ferrea stem (Nagkesar) (83.5 mg): Derived from the Mesua ferrea plant, nagkeshar has astringent properties which help shrink swollen haemorrhoidal tissues and reduce bleeding.

• Tagetes erecta flower (Genda) (83.5 mg): This flowering plant is used for its ability to reduce bleeding in haemorrhoids and promote wound healing.

• Keep Hilo Capsule in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays below 30°C.

• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Place it out of the sight and reach of children.

• Always check the expiration date before using the medicine.

• Include fibre-rich foods like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables in your diet. This can help soften stools, reducing strain during bowel movements, which may worsen haemorrhoids.

• Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water daily. This can also aid in preventing constipation, a common trigger for piles.
