Kufril Ls Oral Drops is used for managing a range of respiratory conditions, including:

• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): This is a chronic lung condition that makes it hard to breathe.
• Asthma: A lung condition that can cause breathing difficulties and coughing.
• Bronchitis: Inflammation of the tubes that carry air to your lungs.
• Productive cough: This is a cough accompanied by mucus or phlegm.
• Emphysema: A lung condition causing shortness of breath.
• Respiratory distress syndrome: A severe lung disorder causing breathing difficulties.
• Bronchospasm: Kufril LS Oral Drops helps alleviate coughing in children with excessive mucus production and bronchospasm. 
• Tenacious mucus: Kufril LS Oral Drops is also effective in thick and tenacious mucus conditions. It acts as an expectorant, helping to thin and loosen the mucus, making it easier to cough up and clear from the respiratory tract.
• Wheezing: Wheezing is a respiratory symptom characterised by a high-pitched whistling sound during breathing, which can be relieved by this medication due to its bronchodilator activity. Levosalbutamol helps relax the muscles in the airways, reducing constriction and improving airflow.
• Chest congestion: Build-up of mucus in the chest, making it difficult to breathe.

Use Kufril-LS Drops as follows:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Use the provided dropper to measure the correct dose.
• The drops can be diluted with a small amount of water if needed, and given orally to your child.
• If your child vomits within 15 minutes of taking a dose, give the same dose again. If vomiting occurs after 15 minutes, wait until the next scheduled dose.

Kufril-LS Drops contain three active ingredients that work together to provide relief from mucus-related cough and congestion:

• Ambroxol (7.5 mg): This is a mucolytic agent that works by thinning and loosening thick, sticky mucus in the airways. It breaks down complex substances present in the mucus, making it less viscous and promoting its expulsion.
• Levosalbutamol (0.25 mg): This is a selective beta-2 adrenergic agonist and bronchodilator that relaxes the smooth muscles of the airways from the trachea to the terminal bronchioles. It helps open up constricted airways, allowing air to move in and out freely while also inhibiting the release of agents that cause airway constriction.
•  Guaifenesin (12.5 mg): This is an expectorant that works by increasing the volume and reducing the viscosity of secretions in the respiratory tract. It stimulates mucus production and enhances its flow, making it easier to clear through coughing.  

• Store Kufril-LS Drops at room temperature, ideally not exceeding 25 °C.
• Protect the bottle from direct sunlight and keep it in a cool, dry place.
