L-HIST Mont Junior Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of allergic skin conditions in children

• Reducing symptoms of sneezing and a runny nose due to allergies

• Control of hay fever in children

Ensure you give your child L-HIST Mont Junior Tablet correctly, as follows:

• The tablet should be given whole with a glass of water.

• Crushing or chewing the tablet should be avoided.

• Carefully follow the guidelines provided by your child's doctor for the exact dosage and frequency.

• Do not change or exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your child's doctor.

• Do not discontinue this medication without your child's doctor's advice. Always consult the doctor before stopping.

• Ensure your child adheres to the diet plan recommended by their doctor.

L-HIST Mont Junior Tablet is given orally to your child.

L-HIST Mont Junior Tablet consists of two active ingredients:

• Levocetirizine (2.5 mg): This is an antihistamine that works by blocking the action of histamine in your child's body. Histamine is a substance that causes allergic symptoms, so by blocking it, levocetirizine effectively reduces these symptoms.

• Montelukast (4 mg): This component is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. Leukotrienes cause inflammation in the airways, which can lead to asthma symptoms. So, by blocking leukotrienes, montelukast helps reduce inflammation and consequently prevents asthma attacks.

• Store L-HIST Mont Junior Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally below 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Ensure the container is tightly sealed.

• Keep this medicine out of reach of children.
