Take Lactomed Solution as follows:

• Shake the bottle well before each use to ensure the components are evenly mixed.
• Measure the required amount of this medicine using a medicine cup or spoon.
• Lactomed Solution can be taken with or without food, according to your preference or doctor's advice.

• Blood Ammonia Reduction: For hepatic encephalopathy, lactulose facilitates the diffusion of ammonia from the blood into the colon by acidifying colonic contents. The trapped ammonia is then expelled into the faeces.
