• Levofloxacin (250 mg): This fluoroquinolone antibiotic inhibits enzymes in bacteria called DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. These enzymes are critical for bacterial DNA replication and repair; blocking them disrupts these processes, leading to bacterial cell death. Levofloxacin is particularly effective against gram-negative bacteria and atypical respiratory pathogens.

• Ornidazole (500 mg): This nitroimidazole antibacterial and antiprotozoal agent damages bacterial and parasitic DNA after being converted into reactive reduction products, thus blocking nucleic acid synthesis.
