• Management of DVT with or without pulmonary embolism

• Averting ischemic complications of unstable angina and non-Q-wave myocardial infarction (heart attack)

• Management of acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) is managed medically or with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
