The Met XL Trio 25 Tablet comprises three active ingredients:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): As an L/N type calcium channel blocker, cilnidipine causes peripheral vasodilation and reduces peripheral vascular resistance. This action helps lower blood pressure.

• Metoprolol succinate (25 mg): This ingredient is a cardioselective beta1 adrenergic blocker that diminishes heart rate, myocardial contractility, and cardiac output. Its extended-release formulation ensures a consistent level of this component in your bloodstream over 24 hours.
