Metfor Tablet is used for managing the following conditions:

• Type 2 diabetes mellitus: This is a chronic condition where your body struggles to use sugar (glucose) properly, resulting in high blood sugar levels.

• Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS): An endocrine disorder affecting women of reproductive age, causing hormonal imbalances and problems with metabolism.

• Gestational diabetes: A condition that develops during pregnancy and results in high blood sugar levels.

• Insulin Resistance Syndrome: A condition where cells in your body become resistant to the effects of insulin.

Here are the instructions for taking Metfor Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet as it may alter its effect.

• Follow the prescribed dosage given by your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first, even if you feel better.

Metfor Tablet is taken orally.
