Metpure-Tel 20 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure levels.

• Preventing heart attacks and strokes by controlling hypertension.

• Handling irregular heartbeat or arrhythmias.

• Lowering the risk of heart-related complications in patients who cannot use ACE inhibitors.

• Reducing the chances of heart attacks in individuals with heart or blood vessel disease.

Here are some guidelines for taking Metpure-Tel 20 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not alter the dosage without consulting your doctor.

• If you wish to stop taking this medication, consult your doctor first for advice on gradually reducing the dose.

Metpure-Tel 20 Tablet is taken orally.

Metpure-Tel 20 Tablet contains two active ingredients which work together to manage high blood pressure:

• S-Metoprolol (25 mg): This component targets the beta-1 receptors in your heart. By blocking these receptors, it slows down your heart rate and reduces the force of your heart contractions. This ultimately decreases the workload and oxygen demand of your heart, helping to manage hypertension.

• Telmisartan (20 mg): This ingredient works by blocking angiotensin II receptors. Angiotensin II is a hormone that can constrict your blood vessels. By blocking its receptors, Telmisartan prevents this constriction, allowing your blood vessels to relax and widen. This facilitates easier blood flow, resulting in lower blood pressure.
