Metsmall VX 500 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Vildagliptin (50 mg): Vildagliptin is a potent dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. It functions by increasing the levels of incretins such as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP). These incretins help enhance insulin secretion and reduce glucagon levels in a glucose-dependent manner. In simple terms, they help your body produce more insulin when it’s needed and less when it's not, keeping your blood sugar levels in check.
