Mebeverine (200 Mg)

Meva SR Capsule is used to manage symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It belongs to the class of medicines known as musculotropic antispasmodics.

In addition to IBS, Mebeverine may also be used for other conditions involving intestinal spasms, such as chronic irritable colon, spastic constipation, mucous colitis, and spastic colitis.

Directions for Use of Meva Sr Capsule 15

Take Meva SR Capsule with a glass of water.
Swallow the capsule as a whole, do not crush or chew it.
This medication should be taken preferably 30 minutes before meals.
It is recommended that this capsule be taken at a fixed daily time.

Meva SR Capsule should be taken orally.

Antagonising muscarinic acetylcholine receptors reduces cholinergic transmission and intestinal motility.

Use Meva SR Capsule during pregnancy only if clearly necessary. Consult your doctor for guidance if you are pregnant before starting this medication.

Breastfeeding

It is unknown whether this medication passes into breast milk. Therefore, breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before using this medicine.

Alcohol
