Migrawin Plus Tablet 10

Migrawin Plus Tablet is an anti-migraine medication that is primarily used to treat migraines. Migraine is a medical disorder in which one side of the head experiences acute throbbing pain or a pulsating feeling. One of the hallmark signs of migraine is severe and persistent headaches. Nausea, vomiting, difficulty speaking, numbness or tingling, and sensitivity to light and sound are some of the symptoms. Migrawin Plus Tablets 10 are made up of two medications: 'Propranolol' (beta-blocker) and 'Flunarizine' (calcium channel blocker). Propranolol belongs to the beta-blocker family of drugs. It has anxiolytic (anxiety-relieving), anti-arrhythmic (abnormal heart rhythm) and antihypertensive (blood pressure-lowering) effects. Propranolol acts by lowering cerebral (brain) blood flow by acting directly on the blood vessels in the brain. It also prevents cortical spreading depression, a type of electrical activity that produces discomfort and inflammation in the brain. It efficiently relieves migraine headaches and lowers their severity and frequency. Flunarizine belongs to the calcium channel blocker family of drugs. It enhances blood flow and dilates blood vessels in the brain, which helps to avoid migraine headaches. It's also used to treat peripheral vascular disease, vertigo (spinning sensation), and seizure (fits) disorder as an adjuvant treatment.
