Minirin 0.1 mg Tablet is primarily used to manage conditions characterised by excessive urination and thirst, such as central diabetes insipidus. It belongs to a group of medicines known as synthetic vasopressin analogues.
Besides central diabetes insipidus, this medication is also used to manage bedwetting (nocturnal enuresis) in children over six years old and regulate excessive urination and thirst (post-hypophysectomy polyuria and polydipsia) following pituitary gland surgery.
