MiraBig-S 25 Tablet is used for managing the following health conditions:

• This medicine is used to manage overactive bladder, helping reduce frequent urination and urgency.

• It is used in treating urinary incontinence, preventing uncontrollable leakage of urine.

• It is used for relieving urinary urgency, helping to control the sudden, strong need to urinate.

• It is used to address frequent urination, reducing the need to urinate more often than usual.

Here are some simple instructions on how to take MiraBig-S 25 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.

• You can take the tablet with or without food as per your preference.

• Avoid taking more than one tablet a day unless your doctor advises otherwise.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

MiraBig-S 25 Tablet is taken orally.

MiraBig-S 25 Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together:

• Mirabegron (25 mg): This ingredient has a specific action on beta-3 adrenergic receptors situated in your bladder. Its main function is to stimulate these receptors which leads to relaxation of the bladder smooth muscle during urine storage. As a result, your bladder capacity increases and involuntary bladder contractions decrease.

• Solifenacin (5 mg): This component acts as a competitive muscarinic receptor antagonist. In simpler terms, it binds with muscarinic receptors in your bladder and hinders their action. This reduces acetylcholine-induced contractions of a muscle known as 'detrusor muscle' in your bladder, leading to a reduction in involuntary bladder contractions and an increase in residual urine volume.

• Store MiraBig-S 25 Tablet in a dry place, shielded from direct light.

• The ideal storage temperature is below 30°C.

• Keep this medicine away from children and pets for safety.

• Ensure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Drinking plenty of water can help manage symptoms related to overactive bladder, which MiraBig-S 25 Tablet aims to control. However, avoid excessive fluid intake before bedtime to reduce night-time urination.

• Bladder-friendly foods: Certain foods might irritate your bladder leading to urgency or frequency. Aim for a diet rich in fibre but low in spicy foods, caffeine, and acidic fruits, which can worsen overactive bladder symptoms. Always consult your doctor for personalised advice.
