Mixogen Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms linked with menopause, such as hot flashes and night sweats.

• Helping women with an intact uterus face menopausal changes.

• Balancing hormone levels in cases of hypogonadism in women where testosterone is abnormally low.

• Assisting in the management of delayed puberty in women by regulating hormone levels.

Here's how you should take Mixogen Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.

• Try to take the tablet at the same time each day, with or without food.

• If you miss a dose and remember it soon after, you can still take it. But if it's close to your next dose time, skip the missed dose and continue your regular schedule.

• Never take two doses at once to make up for a missed one.

• Consult your doctor for specific advice on when and how to use this medicine.

Mixogen Tablet is taken orally.

Mixogen Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Ethinyl Estradiol (0.004 mg): This synthetic version of estrogen binds to and activates estrogen receptors in your body. In doing so, it regulates gene expression and promotes the production of proteins involved in female sexual development and function.

• Methyltestosterone (3.6 mg): As a synthetic form of testosterone, this component binds to androgen receptors in your body. This action regulates gene expression associated with male sexual development and function.

Together, these two hormones help restore hormonal balance in your body, effectively managing menopausal symptoms and other conditions related to hormonal imbalance.

• Store Mixogen Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 20°C and 25°C.

• Keep the medicine in a tight, light-resistant container to protect it from direct light.

• Avoid exposing the tablets to moisture.

• Ensure the medicine is kept out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date before taking a dose.

• For managing hot flashes and night sweats associated with menopause, try to limit your intake of caffeine, alcohol and spicy foods which may exacerbate these symptoms.

• Regular physical activity can help balance hormones and manage weight, both of which are beneficial for women with low testosterone levels or those going through menopause.
