Montek LC Tablet treats sneezing, runny nose, and allergic skin conditions caused by various allergies and hay fever (seasonal allergy). It effectively manages symptoms of seasonal allergies, such as runny nose and sneezing, and helps reduce skin inflammation and itching caused by hives, making it useful in treating skin allergies.

The common side effects of Montek LC Tablet include:
Most of the side effects are temporary and harmless, and get resolved by discontinuing the tablet. These may not require medical attention. To combat abdominal discomfort, take this tablet with food. Avoid sudden movements, sit or lie down until the dizziness passes. Also, avoid activities that require alertness until you feel better. If you experience severe or persistent side effects from this tablet, consult your doctor.

While Levocetirizine is safe during pregnancy, very low levels of montelukast from this tablet appear in breast milk and are safe for babies. However, if you are a breastfeeding mother, consult your doctor before taking this tablet.
Alcohol is not recommended while taking it. It may lead to drowsiness, dizziness, or impaired judgement. Additionally, alcohol can worsen some side effects of nausea, vomiting, or abdominal discomfort. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid or limit alcohol consumption while taking this tablet.
Montek LC Tablet should be used cautiously in patients with liver disease. In a person with liver dysfunction, this tablet can be eliminated from the body without treating the disease. Discuss your condition with a doctor. He may adjust your dose according to your liver condition.
If you have kidney disease, consult your doctor before taking the Montek LC Tablet, as it may accumulate in the body and cause adverse effects. Otherwise, it may take longer to be eliminated from the body, leading to its toxicity.
Montek LC Tablet may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or impaired judgment in some individuals. Therefore, operating machinery or driving a vehicle is not recommended until the effects of this tablet wears off.
