MTP Kit, like any other medicine, can cause side effects. Common side effects include -

• Stomach pain- Using MTP Kit may sometimes cause stomach aches in some patients. Consult your doctor if the stomach pain persists for long and/or is severe.
• Nausea- Nausea refers to queasiness and discomfort in the gut region. Headaches and vomiting may accompany it. 
• Vomiting- MTP Kit tab may cause you to have vomiting sometimes. If it is causing vomiting and nausea at every dosage, kindly consult your doctor and get a changed prescription.

Managing Side effect

The side effects can be managed by following quick natural remedies or practising handy tips. 

• Stomach pain- Drink plenty of fluids. Use natural remedies such as ginger or chamomile tea. Peppermint oil can be applied to the abdomen region to soothe the pain.
• Nausea can be relieved by taking lemon water, inhaling the scent of fresh lemon or having lemon and ginger tea.
• Vomiting- Vomiting should stop naturally soon. Take lemon water to hydrate. Kindly hydrate properly and consult your doctor if the vomiting is frequent.

Pregnancy 

MTP Kit is meant to terminate a pregnancy. Do not use it if you do not wish to terminate pregnancy. It is highly unsafe for use by pregnant women who want to sustain their pregnancy.

Breastfeeding

Studies suggest that MTP Kit is unsafe for usage during breastfeeding. The drug may pass on with breast milk and cause toxicity to the baby.

Alcohol

Avoid the consumption of alcohol while taking MTP Kit, as it is unsafe and can cause adverse effects.

Liver

MTP Kit is considered unsafe if you wish to drive or operate machinery soon after using the kit. It induces nausea, dizziness, and sleepiness, which decrease alertness and can cause accidents. 

Allergy 

When you are allergic to any of the key ingredients of the MTP Kit, do not take the medicine, and inform the doctor. The doctor will decide about the further use of the medication.

Use in children

MTP Kit is not meant for usage in children.

Use in older patients

The effect of an MTP Kit on older patients may vary based on their disease and general health condition. It is to be used with caution and only on your doctor's recommendation.
