About Neosporin H Ointment 5gm

Neosporin H ointment is a prescription medication for minor skin problems such as dermatitis. It effectively treats allergic skin reactions from irritants, including preservatives, fragrances, hair dye, and metals such as nickel or cobalt in jewellery. Dry, flaky, and itchy skin can also be treated with this medicine.

This ointment also prevents bacterial infections due to cuts, burns, ulcers, scrapes and insect bites. Neosporin H Ointment can also be applied to the eye to treat bacterial infections in the eye.

The composition of Neosporin H ointment includes four active ingredients, including polymyxin B, neomycin, bacitracin, and hydrocortisone. These ingredients are effective against a wide range of bacteria. This combination promotes healing and relieves minor skin infections and inflammatory conditions.

It is important to note that this medication is not intended for viral infections such as herpes or chickenpox. Also, consult a doctor before applying to open or deep puncture wounds.
