Medication for tuberculosis (like rifampin): Rifampin is a strong enzyme inducer, which increases Nevirapine metabolism, leading to lower medicine levels and reduced effectiveness in controlling HIV infection.

Liver impairment (Child-Pugh Class B or C): The liver primarily metabolises Nevirapine. Nevaros-200 Tablet is generally not recommended in such patients.
Hepatic events with prior Nevirapine treatment: Patients who have previously experienced significant liver-related side effects with Nevirapine (such as hepatitis or elevated liver enzymes) are at a higher risk of recurrent and more severe hepatic toxicity if re-exposed to the medicine. Re-administration of Nevaros-200 Tablet is contraindicated in such cases.
