Nicorfic 5 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Management of stable angina pectoris in adults

• Alleviating heart related chest pain in individuals who cannot use beta blockers

• Use as an alternative when other heart pain management medicines are ineffective or unsuitable

• Enhancing the quality of life in patients with coronary artery disease by improving exercise tolerance.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, chewing, or breaking the tablet.

• Try to take the medicine at the same times each day, typically in the morning and evening.

• Ensure you continue taking this medicine regularly as prescribed, even if your symptoms improve.

• Remember not to stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor first.

Nicorfic 5 Tablet 10 contains Nicorandil (5 Mg) which works on the body as follows:

• Potassium Channel Activation: Nicorandil opens ATP sensitive potassium channels in the walls of your blood vessels. This action leads to relaxation and widening of coronary and systemic resistance arterioles, ultimately improving blood flow to your heart.
