Ozomet-G2 Tablet contains the following components, which work in the following way:

• Glimepiride (2 mg): Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to secrete more insulin by binding to receptors on pancreatic beta cells. With more insulin available, body cells can absorb more sugar from the bloodstream, thus lowering blood glucose levels.

• Metformin (500 mg): Metformin works by reducing the amount of sugar produced by your liver and improving your body's sensitivity towards insulin. It suppresses glucose production in the liver, slows down the absorption of sugar in your intestines, and enhances insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilisation.
