Pantop D Capsule is primarily used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcers. GERD is a condition in which stomach acid flows back into the oesophagus, causing symptoms like heartburn, irritation, indigestion, regurgitation, acid reflux, stomach pain, and chest pain. It belongs to the group of medications called gastrointestinal agents.
This capsule is also used to treat gastritis symptoms. Take this medicine one hour before eating, preferably in the morning. The amount you take will depend on your condition and how you react to the medicine. Keep taking it as your doctor told you to, even if you start feeling better quickly. Pantop D Capsule contains two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole.
Some side effects may be noted with the use of this capsule, which should be timely informed to a doctor. Any allergy to this capsule, existing diseases and other ongoing medications should also be brought to the notice of your doctor before this capsule is prescribed to you.
