Pause Xt Tablet 10

Pause-XT Tablet is used in the following conditions: 

• Prostate or bladder surgery
• Nose bleeds (epistaxis)
• Abnormalities of the cervix
• Bleeding inside the eye (hyphaema)
• Tooth removal (dental extraction) in haemophiliacs
• A hereditary disease called angioedema
• Heavy periods / severe menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia)

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

Pause-XT Tablet is taken orally. 

Pause-XT Tablet contains the following components: 

• Tranexamic acid (500 mg): It is an antifibrinolytic that works by inhibiting the breaking of blood clots, preventing excessive bleeding. It does this by blocking a specific enzyme that dissolves blood clots.
• Citrus bioflavonoids (150 mg): They contribute to blood vessel stability, reducing the likelihood of bleeding. They also have antioxidant properties that can help maintain vascular health.
• Menadione (20 mcg): It is a form of vitamin K essential for proper blood clotting. It helps the blood clotting factors in your body function effectively.
• Calcium (144 mg): It is vital for blood clotting. Tribasic calcium phosphate in this tablet ensures an adequate supply of calcium for this crucial process.

• Pause-XT Tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Consume foods high in iron, like lean meats, leafy greens, beans, and fortified cereals, to combat anaemia caused by excessive bleeding.
• Alcohol and caffeine can exacerbate bleeding, so reduce alcohol and caffeine intake.
• Stress can exacerbate bleeding disorders, so practice relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation.
• Keep track of your bleeding episodes and any concerning symptoms, and share this information with your doctor.
• Consider joining support groups for individuals with bleeding disorders to share experiences and gain valuable insights.
