Paracetamol/acetaminophen (1 Gm)

Pcm Injection 100ml is used to relieve mild to moderate pain. It belongs to a class of medications called analgesics (pain relievers) and antipyretics (fever reducers). It is also used to reduce fever. This injection is also used in combination with opioid (narcotic) medications to relieve moderate to severe pain.

This injection should be administered only by a healthcare practitioner under the supervision of a doctor.

Some side effects may be noted with the use of this injection, which should be timely informed to a doctor. Any allergy to this injection, existing diseases and other ongoing medications should also be brought to the notice of your doctor before this injection is administered to you.

Pcm Injection 100ml is used in the following conditions:

Management of mild to moderate pain
Management of moderate to severe pain with adjunctive opioid analgesics
Reduction of fever

Directions for Use of Pcm Injection 100ml

A healthcare professional should administer Pcm Injection 100ml under the supervision of a doctor. It is not recommended to be self-administered. It is administered in intravenous injection over 15 minutes.

Pcm Injection 100ml contains the following ingredient:

Paracetamol (1 gm): It is an analgesic and antipyretic that relieves pain and reduces fever in the body. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins that transmit pain signals and regulate body temperature. Paracetamol helps alleviate pain and lower fever by reducing the levels of prostaglandins.

Pregnancy

This injection can be used during pregnancy when prescribed. It should be used for the shortest time possible.

Breastfeeding

This injection can be used in breastfeeding when recommended by a doctor.

Alcohol

It is recommended to avoid alcohol after taking Pcm Injection 100ml. It can reduce the effectiveness of the medication and increase the risk of liver damage.

Liver

It is not recommended In patients with severe liver impairment or severe active liver disease. If you have severe liver impairment, it is better to inform your doctor before taking this injection.

Kidney

Pcm Injection 100ml should be cautiously used in patients with severe kidney impairment. If you have severe kidney disease, it's better to consult your doctor before taking this injection.

Using Machines & Driving

This injection is unlikely to affect your ability to operate machinery or drive a vehicle. Still avoiding any attentive task is recommended if you feel disoriented after taking this injection.

Allergy

Do not take Pcm Injection 100ml if allergic to paracetamol/acetaminophen. Read the label and check the ingredients before taking this injection to avoid allergic reactions.

Children

Pcm Injection 100ml can be used in children with appropriate doses.
