Polyethylene Glycol (13125 Mg) + Potassium Chloride (46.6 Mg) + Sodium Bicarbonate (178.5 Mg) + Sodium Chloride (350.7 Mg)

Pegicol sachet is a laxative, which is a type of medication used to treat constipation. Constipation is characterised by infrequent bowel movements that are generally dry, unpleasant, and difficult to pass.

Polyethylene glycol, potassium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, and sodium chloride are all included in Pegicol sachet . Polyethylene glycol attracts water to the colon and softens faeces, making them more easily passed. Potassium chloride is required for the proper functioning of all organs. Sodium bicarbonate helps to relieve acidity and heartburn by reducing high levels of acid in the stomach. The body's sodium levels are maintained by sodium chloride. Pegicol sachet works together to relieve constipation.

Directions for Use of Pegicol Powder 13.81gm

Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and duration of Pegicol sachet . Before using, read the directions on the label. Pour the granules into a glass of water/milk, stir, and drink right away. Pegicol sachet should be consumed after food.

Pegicol Sachet is an osmotic laxative that helps to relieve constipation and faecal impaction. Pegicol contains PEG 3350, which has a high water-binding capacity and no gastrointestinal absorption. As a result, it maintains water in the colon, softens and raises the water content of faeces, resulting in an increase in stool volume. Electrolytes (Na+, K+, Cl-, HCO3-) in PEG prevent considerable net electrolyte gain/loss from the body. PEGICOL thus provides a significant safety margin, especially for older patients and those who are at danger of electrolyte imbalance.
