Pentavac Prefilled Syringe is given to babies and small children. It protects against Diphtheria, Haemophilus influenzae type b, Hepatitis-B, Pertussis, and Tetanus, as well as other serious infections. It strengthens the immune system and creates antibodies that guard against certain diseases. Only your child's paediatrician should administer the Pentavac Prefilled Syringe. It is injected into the newborns' thigh muscles. The vaccination is injected into the arm muscle of older children. It is given in three doses, four weeks apart, preferably before the child reaches the age of six months. The first dose should be given at 6 weeks of age, the second dose at 10 weeks of age, and the third dose at 14 weeks of age. If your kid has not gotten the first dose by the age of one year, begin immunisation as soon as possible and ask your child's doctor for a timetable.
