Plendil Tablet is used to treat and prevent high blood pressure (hypertension) (heart-related chest pain). It belongs to the calcium channel blocker class of drugs, which helps to lower blood pressure and lessen the stress on the heart. This decreases the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
Plendil Tablet can be used alone or in combination with other medicines. The dosage is determined by the reason for your prescription and the severity of your disease. It can be taken with or without meals at any time of day, although it is preferable to take it at the same time each day. Continue to take it for as long as your doctor suggests.
