Predmet 16 Tablet is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Endocrine disorders such as adrenal insufficiency and congenital adrenal hyperplasia
• Rheumatic conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis
• Collagen diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus and acute rheumatic carditis
• Severe allergic conditions like seasonal allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma
• Dermatologic diseases such as pemphigus and severe erythema multiforme
• Ophthalmic diseases like allergic corneal marginal ulcers and optic neuritis
• Respiratory disorders, including symptomatic sarcoidosis and Loeffler's syndrome
• Haematologic disorders like idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura and acquired haemolytic anaemia
• Neoplastic diseases for palliation in leukaemias and lymphomas
• Edematous states to induce diuresis in idiopathic nephrotic syndrome or lupus erythematosus
• Gastrointestinal diseases like ulcerative colitis and regional enteritis
• Nervous system disorders such as acute exacerbations of multiple sclerosis
• Miscellaneous conditions like tuberculous meningitis and trichinosis with neurologic or myocardial involvement.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water, ideally during a meal.

Predmet 16 Tablet contains methylprednisolone (16 mg), which acts on the body as follows:

• Binds to glucocorticoid receptors: Methylprednisolone binds with receptors in your body's cells. These receptors are proteins that respond to glucocorticoids, a type of steroid hormone.
• Moves into cell nucleus: The methylprednisolone-receptor complex then moves into the nucleus of the cell, the part that holds all the genetic material.

• Inhibits inflammation: This process inhibits leukocyte infiltration at inflammation sites. Leukocytes are white blood cells that usually increase in number during inflammation.
• Interferes with mediators of inflammatory response: Methylprednisolone also interferes with substances in your body that promote inflammation.
• Suppresses immune responses: The medicine suppresses your body's immune responses, which can sometimes hide symptoms of infection and increase the risk of infections spreading.
