Rabesec-LS Capsule is used for the following:

• Managing gastroesophageal reflux disease, commonly known as GERD, which involves acid reflux and symptoms like heartburn and difficulty swallowing.

• Helping heal peptic ulcers, which are sores on the lining of your stomach or small intestine.

• Easing symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome such as abdominal pain, bloating, and changes in bowel habits.

• Improving conditions of functional dyspepsia including upper abdominal pain, bloating, and early satiety.

• Controlling Zollinger Ellison syndrome that leads to excessive production of stomach acid.

Use Rabesec-LS Capsule as follows:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the capsule.

• The capsule should be taken 30 minutes before a meal.

• Do not open the capsule before taking it.

Rabesec-LS Capsule is taken orally.

Rabesec-LS Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Levosulpiride (75 mg): Levosulpiride is a selective dopamine D2 receptor antagonist. This term may sound complicated but it just means that it blocks certain receptors in the gastrointestinal tract that respond to dopamine, a neurotransmitter. By doing so, it increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food move more easily through your digestive system.

• Rabeprazole (20 mg): Rabeprazole falls into the category of proton pump inhibitors. This agent works by blocking a specific enzyme system (proton pump) in your stomach's cells responsible for producing acid. Blocking this enzyme reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach which allows any damage to heal and prevents further damage.

• Store Rabesec-LS Capsule at room temperature, specifically below 30°C.

• Keep it in a dry place, shielded from light and moisture.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Pay attention to the expiry date on the package and do not use the capsule beyond this date.
