Rabium Dsr Capsule is used to manage the following health conditions:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux): When stomach acid flows back into the food pipe, causing heartburn and discomfort.
• Peptic ulcer disease: Open sores in the stomach lining or small intestine, causing pain and discomfort.
• Gastric ulcers: Sores that develop on the inside lining of the stomach, leading to pain and indigestion.
• Duodenal ulcers: Ulcers that form in the upper part of the small intestine, causing abdominal pain and discomfort.
• Acid-related indigestion: This occurs when too much acid is produced in the stomach, leading to symptoms like heartburn and stomach pain.
• Administration during Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: A rare condition where the stomach produces too much acid due to tumors in the pancreas or duodenum.
• Heartburn: A burning sensation in the chest caused by acid reflux.
• Chest pain: Discomfort or pain in the chest that can be caused by acid reflux.
• Difficulty swallowing: The feeling of food getting stuck in the throat or chest.
• Nausea and vomiting: Feeling sick to your stomach and the urge to throw up.

Here's how you should take Rabium-DSR Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew or crush the capsule.
• It is advisable to take this medicine one hour before meals.
• Remember to follow your doctor's instructions on dosage and duration.

Rabium-DSR Capsule is taken orally.

Rabium-DSR Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Domperidone (30 mg): As a prokinetic agent, domperidone works on certain areas of your brain. It blocks dopamine receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ), reducing feelings of nausea and preventing vomiting.
• Rabeprazole (20 mg): As a proton pump inhibitor, rabeprazole effectively reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach. It does this by blocking an enzyme in the wall of the stomach that produces acid, thereby managing conditions that involve excessive stomach acid production.

• Keep your Rabium-DSR Capsule in the original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.
• Ensure it's kept well out of reach and sight of children.

• As Rabium-DSR Capsule is used for managing conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), try to avoid spicy, fatty and fried foods that can aggravate your symptoms.
• Eating smaller, more frequent meals rather than three large meals a day can help manage GERD symptoms better. Avoid eating late at night or lying down soon after eating.
