Rabivax-S Injection is used for the following:

• Active immunisation against rabies in individuals at risk of exposure to the virus

• Pre-exposure prophylaxis in people at high risk, such as veterinarians, animal handlers, and laboratory workers

• Post-exposure treatment after exposure to a potentially rabid animal through bites, scratches, or licks on broken skin and mucous membranes

Administer Rabivax-S Injection as follows:

• The injection is administered intramuscularly by a trained healthcare professional.

• It is usually administered in the deltoid muscle for adults and older children, or in the anterolateral thigh for infants and young children.

• For specific advice on how to use this medicine, consult your doctor.

• Use this injection immediately after reconstitution.
