Rantac Mps Elaichi Sugar Free Suspension 170ml

Rantac MPS Suspension is used in the following conditions:

• Acidity: This suspension is effective in reducing the symptoms of acidity. It is a gastrointestinal condition characterised by a burning pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen, bloating, belching, fullness after eating, and nausea.
• Stomach Ulcers: This medicine also helps relieve stomach ulcer symptoms. Stomach ulcers are open sores that develop on the lining of the stomach. These are marked by burning or gnawing abdominal pain, particularly between meals or at night, bloating, heartburn, and nausea. 
• Bloating: This suspension can also relieve symptoms of bloating. 
• Heartburn or acid indigestion: This suspension also relieves heartburn. It is a gastrointestinal condition characterised by a burning sensation in the chest or throat after eating, regurgitation of stomach acid, and a sour taste in the mouth.

• Shake Rantac MPS Suspension bottle well before use.
• Use the provided measuring cup or dropper to measure the correct dose of the Suspension.
• Keep the bottle well-capped after use.

Rantac MPS Suspension is taken orally.

Rantac MPS Suspension contains the following components:

• Magaldrate (400 mg): It is an antacid that works by neutralising the excess stomach acid that can cause symptoms like heartburn, acidity, and stomach ulcers. Magaldrate helps reduce acid production in the stomach, relieving these symptoms.
• Polydimethyl siloxane (20 mg): It is an antiflatulent agent that breaks down gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines. This helps to reduce bloating, abdominal distension, and discomfort caused by excessive gas. Simethicone does not have any direct effect on acid production but provides relief from symptoms related to gas and bloating.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Rantac MPS Suspension away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Eat slowly and chew your food thoroughly to aid digestion and reduce the air swallowed.
• Eat smaller, more frequent meals rather than large meals, and avoid lying down immediately after eating.
• Limit gas-producing foods such as beans, lentils, cabbage, onions, and carbonated beverages.
• Avoid or limit the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), as they can contribute to developing or worsening stomach ulcers.
• Limit alcohol consumption as it can irritate the stomach lining and worsen ulcer symptoms.
