Razel-F5 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing hyperlipidemia: This is a condition where there are high levels of fats or lipids in your blood.

• Reducing bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels: These are types of fat that can block your blood vessels if their levels are too high.

• Raising good cholesterol levels: Good cholesterol helps to remove bad cholesterol from your blood.

• Lowering the risk of heart attacks and strokes: These can happen when blood vessels are blocked by fats or clots.

Here's how you should take Razel-F5 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with some water. Don't chew, crush or break it.

• Never take more than one tablet in a day unless your doctor tells you to do so.

• If you have any doubts about how to use this medicine, make sure to consult your doctor.

Razel-F5 Tablet is taken orally.

Razel-F5 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Fenofibrate (67 mg): This ingredient works by activating a receptor in your body known as the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-alpha). In simple terms, this action helps to reduce the levels of triglycerides (a type of fat) and increase the levels of HDL cholesterol (the 'good' cholesterol) in your blood.

• Rosuvastatin (5 mg): This ingredient works by blocking an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your body. This enzyme is involved in the production of cholesterol in the liver. By blocking this enzyme, rosuvastatin effectively lowers the levels of LDL cholesterol (the 'bad' cholesterol) and triglycerides in your blood while increasing the levels of HDL cholesterol.

• Store Razel-F5 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always keep Razel-F5 Tablet in its original packaging.

• Ensure it's kept out of reach and sight of children.

• Check the expiry date and use the medicine before it.

• To assist in managing your high cholesterol levels, limit your intake of saturated fats found in red meat and full-fat dairy products. Opt for lean meats, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables instead.

• Regular physical activity supports heart health. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise like brisk walking or cycling each week.
