Rosuvas CV 20 Tablet is used for the following:

Rosuvas CV 20 Tablet comprises two active ingredients:

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): As an antiplatelet medication, clopidogrel works by inhibiting platelets' ability to stick together. This is achieved through binding to a receptor on the surface of platelets called P2Y12, which blocks a complex that activates platelet aggregation. By doing so, it reduces the risk of harmful blood clots that could cause heart attacks or strokes.

• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): This is a lipid-lowering statin that works by blocking an enzyme responsible for cholesterol synthesis in the liver. As a result, it reduces levels of "bad cholesterol" (low-density lipoprotein, or LDL), total cholesterol, and triglycerides in the blood. Additionally, rosuvastatin mildly increases levels of "good cholesterol" (high-density lipoprotein, or HDL).
