• Lowering LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while raising HDL cholesterol

• Slowing down the progression of atherosclerosis, which is the buildup of plaque in arteries

• Reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke in patients with a history of heart attack, unstable angina, or stroke

• Preventing blood clots after placement of a coronary stent

• Swallow the capsule whole with water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not chew, crush, or open the capsule.

Rosycap Gold 10/150 Capsule is a combination medicine with three active ingredients:

• Aspirin (150 mg): This ingredient works by inhibiting the activity of an enzyme called cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), reducing the production of prostaglandins and thromboxane A2. This action reduces the clumping together of platelets, thereby preventing blood clot formation.

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): Clopidogrel is a medicine that needs to be activated by a liver enzyme. Once activated, it binds to a component of ADP receptors on platelets, preventing their activation and aggregation. This action helps in preventing blood clots.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): Rosuvastatin works by competitively inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, a key enzyme in cholesterol synthesis. This action increases the number of LDL receptors on liver cells, enhancing the uptake and breakdown of LDL cholesterol and thus lowering blood LDL levels.
