Sensiclav-625 Tablet is used for managing the following conditions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid chewing or crushing the tablet.

• Maintain evenly spaced intervals between doses for consistent antibiotic levels in your body.

• Do not alter the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

• Continue taking Sensiclav-625 Tablet for the entire course as advised by your doctor.

Sensiclav-625 Tablet is composed of two active ingredients:

• Amoxicillin (500 mg): This semi-synthetic penicillin works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. It does this by targeting what are known as penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs). By blocking these proteins, it disrupts the bacteria's ability to build their cell walls, leading to their destruction.

• Potassium Clavulanate (125 mg): Acting as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, this component prevents certain enzymes known as beta-lactamase enzymes from breaking down amoxicillin. These enzymes are produced by resistant bacteria and can render amoxicillin ineffective. By preventing this breakdown, potassium clavulanate ensures that amoxicillin can work effectively against a broader range of bacteria.
