Siaglide-M 50/500 Tablet is used for the following:

• Controlling blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Managing both fasting and post-meal blood sugar levels as part of a comprehensive diabetes management plan

Here are the steps to follow while taking Siaglide-M 50/500 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, chewing, or splitting the tablet.

• Never exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

Siaglide-M 50/500 Tablet is taken orally.

Siaglide-M 50/500 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Sitagliptin (50 mg): This is a DPP-4 inhibitor. It works by boosting the levels of hormones, known as incretins, in your body. These hormones stimulate your pancreas to produce more insulin when your blood sugar level is high, especially after meals. Sitagliptin also reduces the amount of glucose produced by your liver.

• Metformin (500 mg): This is a biguanide.
