Skinlite Cream 15gm

Skinlite Cream 15gm is used for the management of the following health conditions:

• Gradual fading of hyperpigmented lesions of the face: This can include conditions like melasma, freckles, and senile lentigines.

• Reduction of unwanted areas of melanin hyperpigmentation: These are areas where there’s an excess of melanin, which gives skin its colour.

• Ensure the application site is clean and dry before application.

• Apply a thin layer of the prescribed amount of cream to the affected areas as directed by your doctor.

• The amount of cream to be applied and the frequency of application will be prescribed by your doctor.

• Include about ½ inch of normal skin surrounding the hyperpigmented patches during application.

• Rub the cream lightly and evenly onto your skin.

• Wash your hands after application unless they are also being treated.

Skinlite Cream 15gm is applied topically.

Skinlite Cream 15gm contains three active ingredients:

• Hydroquinone (2%): This skin-lightening agent reduces melanin production, the pigment that gives our skin colour. It does so by inhibiting certain enzymes in our body that are involved in forming melanin, thus decreasing its formation.

• Mometasone (0.1%): This is a medium-potency synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and anti-itching properties. Mometasone is believed to act by introducing proteins that inhibit inflammation mediators in our body.

• Tretinoin (0.025%): Tretinoin binds to certain receptors inside cells. It may modify gene expression and protein synthesis, influencing cell growth and differentiation. It's thought to promote the shedding of melanin pigment from the skin's surface layer.

• Store Skinlite Cream 15gm at room temperature in a cool, dark place.

• Keep the cream tightly sealed when not in use.

• Avoid exposure to excessive heat and direct sunlight.

• Always keep this cream out of reach of children.

• Use Skinlite Cream 15gm before the expiration date printed on the packaging.

• Since Skinlite Cream 15gm is used to manage facial melasma, it's crucial to minimise sun exposure. When you're outside during the day, wear protective clothing and broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to guard your skin from harmful UV rays.

• As part of your skincare regimen, include a good moisturiser, as Skinlite Cream 15gm might cause skin dryness. However, let your doctor recommend the moisturiser that suits your skin.
