SoriFIX Ointment is recommended for managing the following conditions:

• Management of plaque psoriasis: This is a skin condition characterised by raised, red patches covered with silvery scales.

• Reduction of skin swelling: The ointment helps reduce the inflammation seen in psoriatic lesions.

• Moisturising affected skin areas: It also helps hydrate dry and scaly patches of skin.

Applying SoriFIX Ointment involves the following steps:

• Ensure the affected skin area is clean and dry before application.

• Apply a thin layer of the prescribed amount of SoriFIX Ointment to the affected area as directed by your doctor.

• Gently massage until the ointment is fully absorbed into the skin.

• Wash your hands after applying, unless your hands are being treated.

• Remember, this ointment is for external use only. Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, or other mucous membranes.

SoriFIX Ointment is a combination medicine with two active ingredients that work together to manage psoriasis symptoms:

• Calcipotriol (0.005%): This component is a synthetic form of vitamin D3, which slows down the excessive production of skin cells often seen in psoriasis.

• Clobetasol Propionate (0.05%): As a potent corticosteroid, clobetasol propionate works to block the release of inflammatory substances in the body. Reducing redness, swelling, and itching associated with psoriasis is its primary function.

The combined action of calcipotriol and clobetasol propionate provides an effective approach in managing both inflammation and overproduction of skin cells in psoriasis.

• Store SoriFIX Ointment at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Keep the product away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Do not freeze.

• Ensure the tube is tightly closed when not in use.
