Spasmonil Drops are used for managing the following conditions in children:

• Functional bowel or irritable bowel syndrome, a condition causing stomach pain and changes in bowel movements

• Gastric distension, a condition where the stomach feels uncomfortably full and swollen due to excessive gas

• Functional digestive disorders, which cause stomach discomfort without any structural or biochemical cause

• Stomach pain, which can be due to various causes such as indigestion, gas, or a mild virus

Give Spasmonil Drops to your child with these steps:

• Use the provided dropper to measure out the correct dose.

• Dispense the drops slowly into your child's mouth, aiming towards the inner cheek.

• Remember to shake well before each use.

• After giving the medicine, clean the dropper and replace the original cap.

Spasmonil Drops contain two active ingredients:

• Dicyclomine (10 mg): Antispasmodic Agent: Dicyclomine aids in relaxing smooth muscles present in the stomach and intestines. It prevents painful spasms by blocking acetylcholine, a chemical that causes muscles to contract.

• Dimethicone (40 mg): It is used as an antifoaming agent. It helps in releasing gas bubbles in the stomach and intestine, thus relieving discomfort associated with gas and bloating.

• Store Spasmonil Drops at room temperature, ideally below 25°C

• Protect from direct light, heat and moisture. Avoid refrigerating or freezing.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

• Store safely out of reach of children.

• If your child is experiencing abdominal discomfort, consider a diet rich in fibre with plenty of water. This can help manage symptoms associated with functional bowel/irritable bowel syndrome.
