Stanlip Ez 145/10 MG Tablet 10

Stanlip EZ Tablet is used for the following conditions:

• Managing primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia (conditions where the levels of cholesterol and fats in your blood are abnormally high)

• Reducing elevated total cholesterol, LDL-C, Apo B, and non-HDL-C (types of fats in your blood, which, in high levels, can lead to heart disease)

• Managing adult patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia (a condition characterised by extremely high levels of triglycerides (a type of fat) in your blood)

• Lowering triglyceride levels in adult patients with pancreatitis and severe hypertriglyceridemia

Follow these instructions while taking Stanlip EZ Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Don't chew, crush or break it.

• Try to take it at the same time each day to keep a consistent level of the medicine in your body.

• While taking this medication, follow the diet and exercise regime suggested by your doctor.

• If you feel well, don't stop taking it unless advised by your doctor. Remember, most people with high cholesterol or triglycerides don't feel sick.

Stanlip EZ Tablet is taken orally.

Stanlip EZ Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This component reduces the absorption of cholesterol in your small intestine. As a result, less cholesterol reaches your liver from the intestines. This leads to a decrease in cholesterol stores in your liver and makes your liver clear more cholesterol from your blood.

• Fenofibrate (145 mg): As a lipid-regulating agent, fenofibrate activates a receptor in your body called the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα). This action increases the breakdown of fats and reduces the presence of triglyceride-rich particles in your plasma by increasing enzyme activity related to fat breakdown. It also helps to increase the synthesis of certain proteins associated with good HDL cholesterol.

• Store Stanlip EZ Tablet at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep it away from light and moisture.

• Maintain the medicine in a tightly closed container.

• Always keep this medication out of reach of children.

• Remember to use the medicine before its expiration date.

• Since Stanlip EZ Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol, consider incorporating more fibre-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet. This can help lower your cholesterol levels.

• Regular physical activity can also help manage high cholesterol. Aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise on most days of the week.
