Telista Plus 40 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Reducing the need for heart surgery in individuals with coronary heart disease

Follow these instructions while taking Telista Plus 40 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not break, crush or chew the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• It's best to take it at the same time each day for better results.

• Never adjust your dosage without consulting your doctor.

• Don't stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to.

Telista Plus 40 Tablet is a combination medication with two active ingredients:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): Telmisartan prevents the hormone angiotensin II from binding to its receptors within your body. This action causes your blood vessels to relax and widen, leading to a decrease in blood pressure. This improved blood flow allows your heart to pump blood more efficiently.

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): This statin works by blocking an enzyme in your body known as HMG-CoA reductase. This particular enzyme is crucial for producing cholesterol. By inhibiting this enzyme, atorvastatin effectively decreases levels of 'bad' cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides in your blood, while increasing 'good' cholesterol (HDL).

• Store Telista Plus 40 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
