Tellzy-Ch 6.25 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure or hypertension

• Controlling symptoms of fluid retention or oedema

• Helping to manage symptoms related to congestive heart failure

• Assisting in the management of hepatic cirrhosis, a liver condition causing swelling

• Aiding in controlling certain forms of renal dysfunction, which is a kidney-related problem.

Here are some important instructions to follow when taking Tellzy-Ch 6.25 Tablet:

• Swallow the medicine whole with plenty of water. Don't chew or crush the tablet.

• Never take more than what your doctor has advised.

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Tellzy-Ch 6.25 Tablet is taken orally.

Tellzy-Ch 6.25 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component is known as an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by relaxing your blood vessels. It does this by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which is known to narrow blood vessels. By blocking this effect, telmisartan helps your blood vessels to stay relaxed, making it easier for your heart to pump blood, and thus reducing your blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): This component is a type of diuretic, which means it helps your body get rid of extra water and salt. Doing so reduces the total fluid volume in your blood vessels, which in turn helps reduce your blood pressure.

• Store Tellzy-Ch 6.25 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Keep it away from excessive moisture and direct sunlight.

• Ensure the medicine is out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date before use, and do not use if the tablet is past its expiry date.

• Regular exercise: Moderate physical activity can help manage high blood pressure. This could include brisk walking, cycling, or swimming for at least 30 minutes a day.

• Low-salt diet: Reducing your salt intake can also help manage hypertension. Aim to consume less than 6g of salt per day (roughly one teaspoon).
