Thioquest-Gel is used for the following:

• Offering relief from localised forms of soft tissue rheumatism, such as sprains, strains, and sports injuries.

• Helping manage localised rheumatic diseases like osteoarthritis of small joints.

• Assisting in managing discomfort associated with low back pain.

• Providing relief in cervical spondylosis, a condition involving changes to the bones, discs, and joints of the neck.

• Easing the discomfort of myositis, which is inflammation of your skeletal muscles.

• Helping manage fibrositis, a condition that causes muscle pain and stiffness.

Here's how to use Thioquest-Gel:

• Clean and dry the area where you want to apply the gel.

• Apply a thin layer of Thioquest-Gel on the affected area using your fingertips or a clean cotton swab.

• Gently rub in the gel until it is fully absorbed into the skin.

• After application, remember to wash your hands unless they are at the site of treatment.

Thioquest-Gel contains multiple active ingredients:

• Diclofenac Diethylamine (1.16 %): This NSAID inhibits enzymes called COX-1 and COX-2 in your body, reducing the production of prostaglandins which leads to decreased inflammation, pain, and fever.

• Thiocolchicoside (0.125 %): This muscle relaxant has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It works by competing with GABAA receptors and glycine receptors, which helps in reducing muscle spasms.

• Linseed Oil (3 %): As an emollient, linseed oil hydrates and soothes the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that could be related to its alpha-linolenic acid content.

• Methyl Salicylate (10 %): This salicylic acid derivative is a counterirritant and NSAID that reduces inflammation and relieves pain when applied topically. It mildly irritates the skin, causing a sensation of warmth that masks pain.

• Menthol (5 %): Menthol is a counterirritant that initially produces a cooling sensation by stimulating nociceptors. This is followed by an analgesic effect which reduces pain.

• Store Thioquest-Gel below 25°C.

• Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Ensure the gel is well-sealed to prevent exposure to air and moisture.

• Always keep Thioquest-Gel out of the reach of children.
